Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Hands Off application and related services operated by LAISIE.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Hands Off, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
2. Service Description
Hands Off is a voice-to-text application that uses AI-powered transcription to convert spoken words into written text. The service includes a desktop application for Windows, cloud-based transcription processing, and a web-based account management dashboard.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use Hands Off. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. One account per person - sharing accounts is not permitted. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Hands Off offers a monthly subscription plan at $9$11.99/month. New users receive a 24-hour free trial with full access. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose - Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the application - Share your account credentials with others - Use automated tools to abuse the transcription service - Transmit malicious content through the service - Resell or redistribute access to the service
6. Intellectual Property
The Hands Off application, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of LAISIE. Your transcribed text remains your property - we claim no ownership over content you create using the service. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the application.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hands Off is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% transcription accuracy. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
