We collect information that you provide directly to us, including: - Account information (name, email address, hashed password) - Subscription and payment data (processed via Stripe) - Usage statistics (transcription count, language preferences) - Device information (operating system version, app version) Audio data is sent to our servers for transcription but is not stored after processing. We do not retain any voice recordings.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to: - Provide and maintain the Hands Off service - Process your subscription and payments - Send you verification emails and important service updates - Improve our transcription accuracy and service quality - Monitor usage to prevent abuse and ensure fair use - Respond to your support requests

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Hands Off: - our AI engine API: For voice-to-text transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and not stored by our AI. - Stripe: For secure payment processing. We never store your credit card information directly. - Google OAuth: For optional social sign-in. We only receive your name and email. - MongoDB Atlas: For secure database hosting with encryption at rest.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage statistics are retained for up to 12 months. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Audio data is never stored beyond the immediate transcription process.
